Rudolf moved the business to Great Titchfield Street, London in 1932 following their most important customer F.W. Woolworth's move to Marylebone. In 1936 the name of the business was changed from Stein Veit Company Limited to Rudolf Stein Limited |

Gwendoline & Rudolf Stein. When Rudolf died in 1936, Gwendoline continued to run the business until after the war when their nephew Frederick took over. |

Frederick Stein. In 1936, leaving his father and their jewellery business behind, Frederick fled Nazi Germany and joined Rudolf Stein Limited. Frederick took full control of the business in 1945, retiring in 1980 leaving his sons, Matthew and Julian, to continue running the business. |

Matthew and Julian Stein took over from their father in 1980 and retired from the business in 2001. Matthew and Julian still own the business.
Sarah Duncan was appointed Chief Executive in 2001 and after almost 100 years we remain committed to the values that have been fundamental to our success. We look forward to the challenges ahead and to many more successful years of trading.
